Auto Disable rim:navigation mode in config.xml

I'm through with building my webworks app but i observed that if i set the rim:navigation mode="focus" in config.xml its kinda jumpy and messy when scrolloing in bb os5 and os6 but cool in os 7 and bb10.  and when i remove the rim:navigation mode="focus" the scrolling is better in os5 and os6

I have a script to detect the os of the user's phone using javascript but what i want is, when the app detects the user's phone is bb os5 or os6, it should auto disable the rim:navigation mode="focus"

Thanks.

Re: Auto Disable rim:navigation mode in config.xml

You can not programmatically alter config.xml settings at runtime. You will need to build two separate versions of your application and distribute one for BBOS5/6 and another for BBOS7 if you want to provide separate configs to each.
