1.when inviting to BBM from within the connected app I can fill the fields in and click invite- nothing happens

where as - inviting directly from BBM works instantly.

2.on the screen/page with the scanner/updates/apps bar - the connected app is there. is it a clickable link ?

3. NFC - tap to invite to BBM  is not connecting ?

are these issues related ?

For #1, are you referring to invite to download?  This requires the application to be in BlackBerry World to complete successfully.  If not, the current behaviour is for the invite button to be grayed out.

Can you provide a screenshot of what you mean for #2?  Is this a the tag next to the personal message update or a ProfileBoxItem?

#2- under the heading of barcode/updates/apps

in 1029 the appicon was there at the left of the list item

in 1038 the appicon is missing

in the process of reloading so no screenshot at the moment.

sorry for image quality- i can't take a decent picture with my 9900

this is the screen i was talikng about- no image for app

is this correct behavior or should the app icon display with the new OS?

it displayed with SDK 1029 and the previous OS

It's supposed to show the application icon automatically.  I can confirm this has already been fixed.

where do I go from here?

just replaced the icon image,cleared cache in ripple and new icon shows in ripple. signed,packaged and deployed to dev alpha  and the old icon image appears on dev alpha.

Just wait.    It's broken in the current beta release, but has been fixed and should be working again in the next release.

Actually, this fix may not be included in the next update.  I've logged it in Issue Tracker here so you can track the status of this fix.

WebWorks BBM Connected app icons don't appear in BBM Profile
