Yes  I'm using that simulator and the 2 files inside it without any changes.

It doesnt crash, but the BBM invitations never reach the other simulator

any ideas?

It looks like something is blocking communication between the BlackBerry smartphone simulator and MDS-CS Simulator.  Do you have any firewall or VPN software running that could be blocking it?

not really.. this is practically vanilla win 7.

is there any other test I can do just to check if its connecting to the MDS?

You could also try this to test that out (note that this process isn't related to BBM).

Force the BlackBerry Smartphone Simulator Browser to use the MDS-CS Simulator

this is the message I keep getting in the MDS console

"MDP.map.destination.routing.point.value.3 is missing"

That test wouldn't fix the BBM issue, but was to check the connection between the simulators.  Were you able to open a web page in the browser?  Did you see activity in the MDS-CS Simulator window?
