Just a question for RIM people.
Can we expect an Extension or similar for BEAM? Some time frame for his availability?

WebWorks support is definitely on the roadmaps of all BlackBerry platform services, including BlackBerry Enterprise Application Middleware (BEAM).
Unfortunately, there have been no announcements or details published about timing or implementation of BEAM support.
Do you have an interest in using BEAM with WebWorks? If so, how? Would be curious to hear your thougghts / needs and send this feedback to product management for consideration. Feel free to contact me offline if you prefer.

Hi Josep,
Happy to see you are excited about the BEAM offering. We’d love to hear yours and the community's ideas/plans on how you will be developing BEAM and what you would like to see from it.
Thanks

I'm also looking forward to BEAM. I have several coworkers who aren't deep into BlackBerry application development. I think BEAM may be a good path for them to step keep up with developing on BlackBerry while still polishing their skills on native development (webworks, air, java).

What are the key features you would want to see from BEAM?

Here's a few off the top of my head...
Push/Pull Data to/from device easily
Some sort of RAD builder (would be nice)
A simplified AJAX implementation (Think MDS runtime...Web Service templates built at compile time and easily implemented).
Code completion

Thanks for the response Adam and Sam,
here my wish list:
- RAD environment
- .NET WebService support vía AJAX
- Receive a push or server application response and with a simple code line insert to sql database
- Easy mode for Sync Database with a WebService response in background process
- Easy mode for send and receive files, photos,... and get GPS coordinates
and support with WebWorks, of course Device and PlayBook
