I am pleased to announce that the BlackBerry Partners Fund has just launched the BlackBerry Developer Challenge which is intended to increase the awareness of cutting edge applications on BlackBerry and encourage developers to showcase their applications.
The developer challenge is broken down into five categories:

2) Most Innovative Multimedia Application
3) Most Innovative Personal Productivity Application
4) Most Innovative Web Application
5) Most Innovative Enterprise Application
