Re: BlackBerry WebWorks SDK for Tablet OS Beta 3 now available

Hi Tim,

Your post is dated 3/16, but the page you linked to says the simulator was updated 3/14.  I downloaded it 3/15.

Has there been changes since 3/14 to either the simulator or the SDK?

thanks,

There has only been one binary/version released.. If you have downloaded Beta 3 (1.0.0.23) at anytime you have the one and only installer made available

It is just different timing on the communications

There should be a Release Notes document link on the download page that outlines fixed issues and current known issues

Okay, thanks for the clarification Tim.

I looked at the page you linked to, and looked at the page that that one links to, but I can't find the Release Notes.

When I do execute the download, it provides me with an .iso file, but no release notes that I can find.

Can you provide a link to it?

Ah... are you looking for release notes for the Simulator and not WebWorks?

Yes, I'm wondering specifically about the simulator.  I posted a message about problems I was having with it [1].  For one thing, the built in browser doesn't even run, and I'm wondering if this is expected.  My app is just not running properly in it, when I never had problems in the previous versions.  I would really appreciate some help here, as I was already done with my development and was ready to sign it and submit it, when news of a new sdk/simulator came out.

UPDATE: My problem with the simulator disappeared when I reinstalled it and set it up again in VMWare.

thanks,

Re: BlackBerry WebWorks SDK for Tablet OS Beta 3 now available

Hello Tim,

I'm trying to install nthe version 0.9.4 of the tablet simulator on my virtual machine and facing issues.

I have the iso,run it on the vm,everything seems ok,have the BBPlaybook interace running at the beginning and then ...nothing...I have to tell tyhat the 0.9.2 or 3 ran succesfully with the same vm

Did somebody faced the same thing and do you have any advice please?
