This issue seems to pertinent to all simulators though I reckon it might be just the way the browser parses things. I've tried with BlackBerry 9000 and 8800 simulators.
A sample of my code:
Was there a recent change to the Blackberry browser on how it handles this? It used to work a couple of weeks ago apparently.

Hi Tereno, thanks for your post.
On handheld software versions 4.5 and below, the BlackBerry browser provided support for DOM L1 (read-only access of the document object model). Version 4.6, was introduced with the BlackBerry Bold 9000, added support for DOM L2 (read and write accesss of the document object model) in the browser application.
If you discover a specific revision of the BlackBerry handheld software where you get an error, it may in fact be a defect and consideration should be taken to report this in the Developer Issue Tracker.

Was there ever a follow up to this? I am very bad with JS but I wrote some
stuff that works in firefox but seems to sporadically fail on storm.
Inner html seemed ok but alert and document.write were inconsistent.
