I'm having trouble getting a site optimized for Curve devices (mobstar-cases.mobi). It always displays zoomed out, or i can't seem to get the page width right!
I've run through all the tips and tricks i can find, eg, 'HandheldFriendly' & 'Viewport' (width=device-width,user-scalable=no,initial-scale=0) meta tags, which work fine on a Bold 9700 (presumably because it's 5.0) but all the Curves i can get my hands on seem to ignore these bits.
It's getting a bit frustrating trying to get these bits to be recognized, does anybody have any advice?

Are the curves you are testing with running OS 4.5?

Yes, either that or 4.6.

I believe 4.6 will respect the handheld friendly meta tag but I don't believe the 4.5 devices will.  If you can confirm the OS version on the browser's having the problem, we can send the question to the browser team to see if the functionality was supported or not on those versions.

I can confirm that the 5.0 devices work fine, its a problem with 4.6.1.314 (specifically a 8520).

I similiarily had a problem with zooming on the 9800 Torch.  I solved the problem by changing the Meta tag to:

<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width; height=device-height; user-scalable=0; initial-scale=1.0; maximum-scale=1.0"/>

I do not know if it will solve the zooming on the 4.6.1.314 (8520), but it does work for 5.0 devices  9550 and 9700 as well as the 6.0 device 9800.

Give it a try and let us know.

Unfortunatly that hasn't had any effect on a 4.6 device.
