Can a blackberry browser access device telephone number or serial number or any other unique identifier that can be used for authorisation?

Current Browser/OS limitations do not give web applications any access to device settings or information.

How about using a cookie to provide a session ID that can later be retrieved?

Watch for the release of the 5.0 browser though which is rumored to have some device APIs that can be accessed.
