Cannot register keys

Hi!

I've got keys and successfully registered them. But something went wrong and I failed to create debug token: Failed to decrypt keystore error.

So I received new keys. But failed to register them:

Error: Already registered with RDK

Error: Already registered with PBDT

Do I have to make some changes to be able to register new keys?

Thanks,

Ievgeniia

Re: Cannot register keys

At the bottom of the following document, you can find the location where your author.p12, barsigner.db, and barsigner.csk files are saved based on your OS:

https://developer.blackberry.com/html5/documentation/signing_setup_bb10_apps_2008396_11.html

My recommendations would be:

  • Rename the author.p12 file to something else, and attempt to generate a new author.p12 from the command line with a keystore password that matches your code signing password:
blackberry-keytool -genkeypair -storepass <create_a_password> -dname "cn=<company_name>"

  • If you still see issues, rename all of the existing author.p12, barsigner.db, and barsigner.csk files to something else. This will essentially "remove" your signing keys, allowing you to register your new CSJ files.

Re: Cannot register keys

I have deleted my  author.p12, barsigner.csk and barsigner.db files by mistake, and have not taken any backup of those file, now while I have requested for new key and signed the apps, at the time of loading it showing error.

Could you please help me out is there any solution

Can you please provide a screenshot of the error? As well as the command you are executing?
