Dev Alpha in Development mode white screens

I just came accross this while working out the Canvas issue Ifairly popular ATM)

It appears that the Dev Alpha is using a handshake to get past the -d switch in the following cmd line...

..\..\..\..\bbwp %1.zip -d -v -g ******** -buildId %2

Or domething like that

I use this as my default build script (slightly altered version for Mac)

One of my colleagues confirms the "white screen of death" when I get him to try out a signed bar

On installing on my Dev Alpha I get a notice on load that debug is on x.x.x.x:1337 then it freezes on a white screen unless I put Chrome on that addy before continuing, inspect something, then just let it run

Mark / Tim / Adam - official comments would help us all

I'm sure there's some proper dox about this behaviour but quick clarification would be most welcome to the development community

Re: Dev Alpha in Development mode white screens

I've put a silly little test here that illustrates this problem

Without debug it just white screens

With debug you can get it working by inspecting some element

The script is extremely simple - it's a demo for someone in the forums

Works in Ripple (no surprize there), dies on Sim (I'm informed) and requires Web Inspector to get working on 1103

The dedmo is extremely basic - create canvas, fill some background, stick an image somewhere
