Re: Did the 0.9.4 simulator change the device pixel ratio? Things got bigger.

Update:

After messing about a bit, i have got my app working (mostly) again. In the html i had in the <head>:

<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width,height=device-height"/>

This apparently was the cause of the problem for me. Taking it out fixed my layout. Don't ask me why tho :Wacko:

By Including this  tag in a <head> has solved font size ,screen height and width problems

Now  display is consistant across both the simulators

<meta name="viewport" content= "width=device-width, height=device-height, initial-scale=1.0">

Removed the meta tag and it works mostly but when you click on a text input the font still changes and everying gets larger as a result.

Re: Did the 0.9.4 simulator change the device pixel ratio? Things got bigger.

I've found things to keep working consistently by locking the viewport with hard values. Heck, we know what the size is anyway, right?

<meta name="viewport" content= "width=1024, height=600, initial-scale=1.0">

I too had problems with the device-width / device-height instead of hard values.

Re: Did the 0.9.4 simulator change the device pixel ratio? Things got bigger.

Hey guys, struggled with this myself for a while after the new update. Finally found a solution that works perfectly without the need to specify height/width explicitly, just add this to <head> :

<meta name="viewport" content="initial-scale = 1.0,maximum-scale = 1.0" />

Hope this helps, it fixed all my issue, my app now looks perfect in both landscape and portrait modes!

Cheers,

V
