Disable auto-linking phones numbers ?

Hi,

 

How disable auto-linking phones numbers in html page ?

 

device --> BlackBerry 8820.

Hi,

 

I am using Article Number: DB-00528 for disabling 7 digit Account numbers that are hyperlinked like phone numbers on the Blackberry (example: 7428987), and I mark real phone numbers that must be hyperlinked as <a href="tel:+1-561-951-4147">(561) 951-4147<br /></a>. Real phone numbers are hyperlinked.

 

The problem is that "Click to Call" stopped working with the error message: "The protocol specified is not supported by the handheld. Please try a different URL."

 

Device where issue was noted was a real BlackBerry 8700c.

 

The same issue I can reproduce using BlackBerry Device Simulators 4.2.1,   4.2.1.93,   8700-blue.

 

How I can disable auto-linking 7-digit account numbers and still be able to make a "Click to Call" for the explicitly marked phone numbers?

The tel links are also disabled in 4.2.1.  I tried this in version 4.5.0 and found that they were enabled.  So it appears that this was fixed.
