Do widgets support application level reliability for pushes?

I've been configuring some push settings (BES push) and I have not been able to make the application level reliability work. It seems to always kick back to the device reliability mode. I've had several iterations of this conversation with Mark in the push forum (link below).

Push and forget

Any insight? I understand the whole "browser container" idea of the widget. Does this lend the widget to behaving like a browser focused push?

Mark Sohm dropped what I was expecting in the above thread.

Is there any possibility that we can get application level reliability for Widgets?

With no opportunity to run a widget on start up and a lack of application reliability... It's going to be difficult to time my data pushes so that I know 100% my users have recieved them.

Hi jmace,

I'll follow up with our developers.  For the run a widget on startup, you will be glad to know that work is in progress :smileyhappy:

It will not need OS6 for this functionality.. it will work both on 5.0 and OS6

We are currently hoping for and end of summer release :smileyhappy:
