Re: [ERROR] Cannot sign application - failed to find signing keys

Oh - I did get the like (stupid forums)

If in doubt root and locate (more of a Linux thing)

My bbuild script is very useful as you don't have to type all that stuff in every time

The bbinst command is also very useful

Same basis as bbuild

locate blackberry-deploy

#!/bin/bash

<path to deploy>/blackberry-deploy -installApp -device <IP Address> -passwrod <device pass> -package bin/$1.bar

Save as bbinst

chmod 700 bbinst

mv bbinst /usr/bin

Now...

bbinst test

All done

The only issue with bbinst is that if the IP of the device changes you have to edit the script

These two simple scripts make for very rapid update cycles

Re: [ERROR] Cannot sign application - failed to find signing keys

Yeah, I have my little script too, but it's written in Ruby and keeps track of my different deployments targets (BB6, PlayBook, DevAlpha) and also caches the buildId for every project. :smileyhappy:

I'm going to polish it a little and add some global (non-hardcoded) configurations and release it on GitHub as soon as possible.

Re: [ERROR] Cannot sign application - failed to find signing keys

Gave you a like even tho I can't abide Ruby :smileyhappy:

We should all make life easier for each other (even if it involves Ruby <g>)

Glad we got everything sorted

Re: [ERROR] Cannot sign application - failed to find signing keys

peardox, if I could give you a thousand likes I would :-) I honestly don't think I would have been able to make that recommendation myself; hooray for community!

Definitely keeping this thread in my back pocket for next time this comes up.

Re: [ERROR] Cannot sign application - failed to find signing keys

simply copy your  sigtool.p12 file to bin folder:

\BlackBerry WebWorks SDK for TabletOS<version>\bbwp\bin

that solved my problem
