[ERROR] Native Packager exception occurred

When I am trying to package my webworks app, both through command line and gap I am getting this error: [ERROR]   Native Packager exception occurred

How can I fix it?

Re: [ERROR] Native Packager exception occurred

Is there no other error message given in the rest of the output?

Make sure your config.xml doesn't have errors in it.

Re: [ERROR] Native Packager exception occurred

Re: [ERROR] Native Packager exception occurred

I use win 8, and i also get webworks error if i use cmd with out Admin rights.

So i think that you can give a try with full Admiin right in Linux for the command line etc.. I'm not sure

you can give a shot and let us know

Make sure you comment out any tags that reference an image if the image doesn't exist. That was the OP's issue.

Re: [ERROR] Native Packager exception occurred

admin rights didn't solve the problem, still same error.

no issue with config.xml and images also

eventually i found the cause of this error, all files in in the directory:

   depedencies/tools/bin

has 644 permission, after change it to 755 problem solved.

shashwat12345 I just wanted to confirm; are you still seeing issues or have they been resolved as well?
