I am currently buiding an html5 app for BB10 with jquery. I have an old intel processor in my pc which does not support the virtualisation technology needed to run the simulation of the BB10 Dev Alpha device.

So I do not know whether a youtube video directly embedded in a webpage(with the embed code directly taken from youtube) in the app will work or not. Can anyone confirm that?

It's ok, the YouTube videos are going to get embedded correctly, just make sure you're using the correct width for the video so the player doesn't go out of the screen and breaks the layout.

I would suggest you to take a look at Ripple for a semi-accurate "simulation".
