New first time Blackberry owner

like it very much!

 

BB 8900

OS 4.6.x

 

 

 

Basic Tools:

-- can anybody recommend a simple FTP and text editing apps for use Blackberries?

 

 

 

Other questions:

- how can you view non-media files/folders on the Blackberry?

----- and open offline html in the browser?

- how to test SSI offline on the Blackberry?

 

 

Any help would be appreciated please.

I would very much like to find a free FTP program for my BlackBerry Curve 8350; all of the ones online that are 'supposedly' free actually aren't. This includes BeFTP, PaderSyncFTP and Rome... all three of them say they are free, but they actually cost.

 

I heard that MobyExplorer 3.0 is good but I can't get it to work on my BlackBerry Curve 8350. I'm surprised that Filezilla, SmartFTP or another free FTP client has made a mobile version for BlackBerry yet... any suggestions?
