Focus-based Navigation does not work on Device

[ Edited ]

I used the code from the following official BlackBerry web site:

https://bdsc.webapps.blackberry.com/html5/documentation/ww_developing/using_the_navigation_mode_1866...

<html>
<head>

   <title>Color Input Type</title>
   <script type="text/javascript">
      function highlight(e) {
         e.setAttribute("style", "background-color: red; outline: cyan solid thick;");
      }

      function unhighlight(e) {
         e.setAttribute("style", "");
      }
   </script>
</head>

<body>
   <h2>Test input type - text/password/email/search/tel/number</h2>
      <div>
         <label >Text: </label>
         <input type="text" x-blackberry-focusable="true" onmouseover="highlight(this);"
            onmouseout="unhighlight(this);" />
      </div>
      <div>
         <label>Number: </label>
         <input type="number" x-blackberry-focusable="true" onmouseover="highlight(this);"
            onmouseout="unhighlight(this);" />
      </div>
</body>
</html>

with the following config.xml file:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<widget xmlns="http://www.w3.org/ns/widgets" version="0.1" >
  <name>Focus Example 2</name>
  <content src="index.html"/>
  <rim:navigation mode="focus" />
  <feature id="blackberry.ui.dialog" />
</widget>

 This appears to work in Ripple and in the 9300 simulator, but on the actual 9300 device, nothing gets highlighted as I move the trackpad.

 - WebWorks SDK 2.3.0.9

 - Ripple 0.9.0.16

 - Simulator 6.0.0.668 (9300)

 - Windows 7 64bit

- Simulator 6.0.0.668 (9300)
- Windows 7 64bit
- Curve 9300 with App Version: 6.0.0.668 (2949)
Please use plain text.
