While recovering from a bad throat infection I decided to create a little second app and offer it to anyone who wants to look at the code, mess with it or whatever else they fancy.
It's a nice looking unit converter app using JQuery Mobile for a sleek GUI.
Hopefully it will help some people discovering JQuery Mobile which is honestly pretty awesome. Especially since WebWorks lacks any kind of built-in GUI components this will help even non-designer people to create sleek looking apps.
If you add a bit of CSS3 special sauce like i did in this app with the page background and the LCD-style screen with a custom font you can make things look even better. You can create really killer-looking apps with WebWorks!
Here's a screenshot:

There may still be a bug or two. In a few days I'll post the app to AppWorld as (another) free PlayBook app.
P.S. if you like it, feel free to send me a Kudo

I noticed in the font directory you had four copies of each font (.eot. .svg, .ttf, .woff). Did you play aournd with the different font formats. I have only tried to use CSS @font-face wit a TrueType font on the playbook and was currious if the other formats worked as well under WebWorks.

Great job TheMarco2 One thing you should update is adding nice look for select lists. You can see about what I'm talking about here - http://jquerymobile.com/demos/1.0a3/#docs/forms/fo

I explicitly did NOT use those because in a fair amount of cases the amount of items is very large. The 'large' version of the JQuery Mobile menu is very sluggish on the PlayBook simulator which is why I opted for native. You can change this very easily though if you prefer it anyway. The source is yours

Ok. I already use jQuery Mobile in one of my apps You've got the right, after adding more options to select list it's working sluggish.
Are you going to publish this app to App World?
