Hide application icon

Hello

 

create application without any icon,Is it possible in playbook ?

Inside the config file we are mentioning:

<icon src="images/app_icon.png"/>

 

If you didn't provide any icon image then the application don't show any icon.
I didn't check it but hop[e this will work...

Yes,
if you didn't provide any image path in Icon tag in config.xml file.
Then it don't show any customize application icon but may be possible it will show blackberry default icon.

I don't think shivam284 says it will work. Because If you didn't provide any icon path then it will take the default icon.

May be it is not possible to hide the application icon.
I am not sure about this. Let's watch if any one have any solution regarding this.

One thing to bear in mind is that your app will be rejected in Appworld if it doesn't have an icon.

Yes it is possible to hide icon.To hide icon have to add some tag or atrribute in <icon> tag.

 

But i don't know what's that attribute....

 

actually i want to create an application that doesn't have any icon or gui,but has only background process.
