Hi

I try a few things out

Have put 

 <input type="text" name="nunber" id="number" />

    <textarea name="test" id="test" rows="5"></textarea>

 <input type="text" name="nunber" id="number" />    <textarea name="test" id="test" rows="5"></textarea>

into page but when I open the keyboard I can't enter text into them

Any Idea whats going on here?

Mabe your keyboard is broken? Just kidding...

What device are you using? Send me a link to the html and I can try it....

I am pushing code to the playbook emulator

I believe this is a known issue that has been seen in the PlayBook simulator beta before.  Try to continue to click into the edit box.. it does eventually come up.  They will be continuing to fix these issues in the simulator as we move to RTM.

You can also type using your desktop keyboard and it should enter the text into the field.
