How to identify a webworks app is launching for the first time...

I'm trying to design my webworks app to prompt the user to accept a license agreement before they use the app for the first time. If they accept the application works as usual, if they decline the app does not load and exits.

Is there anyway to do in a Webworks app without the use of a  store like the SD Card?

I don't want to use the SD as a store because it limits the number of users who can use the app (even though these SD cards are pretty much standard now).

Does anybody have any suggestions?

You can store the information using the File IO API on the local file system.. You don't need to use the SD card.. just a local path on the device's file system.

Re: How to identify a webworks app is launching for the first time...

Thanks Tim,

Just to confirm, if we want to access the local file system the file is specified as below?

Local:

file:///store/yourfilename.txt

vs

SDCard

file:///SDCard/yourfilename.txt

Is this correct? I just checked the Webworks api, and the only thing I could guess from the code sample.
