Invoking A Url gives some warning notes

Hi,

From my application i am trying to access twitter/facebook links, then there are lot of access not allowed errors shown. i have in my config file already access uri as for * (meaning to all).

How to solve this problem. help me

You may want to try specifically whitelisting the exact domain(s) that is producing the error, like this

 

<access uri="http://facebook.com" subdomains="true"/>

<access uri="https://facebook.com subdomains="true"/>

 

Note the http vs. https

 

If you find there are numerous domains causing an issue for you, and whitelisting is not working, or is not the best option because the domains change, you can use the following.  

 

    <feature id="blackberry.app" >
        <param name="websecurity" value="disable" />
    </feature>
 
Note that it is not recommended that you simply disable web security.  It should only be used in cases that whitelisting isn't the best option.

hello, thanks for the reply,

i have in my config.xml file already <access url="*"> with subdomains as true.

then also its giving me problems, is there any other way to solve this problem?

Yes, could you add what I suggested above? :smileyhappy:

 

If the app is doing any cross domain requests (ajax for example) the * wildcard will not work.
