Is there a way to disable spelling assistance in HTML input fields in BlackBerry 6? I tried setting the autocomplete attribute to "off", but doing that unfortunately doesn't seem to disable the spell check. There aren't any other attributes in the spec that seem like they would have any effect on this, so I'm wondering if it's a bug.
I'm trying to do this because I want to use a custom autocompleter, but the spell check keeps getting in the way.
