JQuery mobile quirk

Just wondering if this is just me or if it's some sort of bug.

In JQuery Mobile you can have more than one page in one document (divs with data-role="page") and link to them through <a href="#pageid">link</a> for example in header buttons.

Alternatively you can link to separate html documents as well which are then ajaxed in so the cool page transitions still work.

Now the strange thing is, when I have more than one page in one HTML document and I try to have an image on another page than the first document, it won't show up! I can have <img src="pic.png"> on the main page and see it but in an additional page the same thing just doesn't display. As if it's trying to get the image from some wrong location.

Then when trying to use the separate document approach, the page just never loads. I'm assuming though that this has something to do with the status=0 vs status=200 issues the simulator currently has.

Anyway, I'm wondering if others have seen this issue with images or if it's just me.

Re: JQuery mobile quirk

Are any of your .html files with pages or images in a seperate directory.  I wonder if the relative path of the img src is not finding the file.  When testing in a desktop browser, do you see 404s come back in the devleoper tools?

Re: JQuery mobile quirk

No I had the images and files all in the same dir to keep things simple and eliminate path issues.

On the desktop everything works fine. The issue only shows on the simulator.

The only way for me to put the small image i wanted on the about page for now was to have it base64 encoded embedded in the CSS file.
