Javascript Extension attemps to access a secure API

Hi all,

I builded a Javascript Extension following the document:

"Lab - Building a BlackBerry Widget JavaScript Extension"

I compiled the Java Extension, did the export into device_templates, and added into a Widget modifing WidgetConfigImpl.java:

_widgetExtensions.addElement(new widgetpackage.SampleExtension());

and tested OK with on the simulator.

But when I sign and load .jad to the device, then I execute and return

“Error starting APP : Module 'app15' attemps to access a secure API”.

Can anybody help me?!!!!

I tryied all to run a Java extensions! Also we tried other estructure/system: exporting the .jar from the Java project, I tried to do the Extension creation from .jar, but doesn't not run.

Re: Javascript Extension attemps to access a secure API

Hi aserra,

The lab has now been updated to show how to build your extension in the supported manner for the RTM (out of Beta) version of the Widget SDK.

You no longer need to change anything in the "device_templates" directory.  There is an easier method now available.

I suggest you check the latest version of the Lab again and see if it will work through your issue.
