This simple tutorial will save you time for your future icons and splash pages using Photoshop.
Open up Photoshop. Then go to File>new or “CRT+N” " CMD+N on Macintosh."
For this example we will be doing a splash image for the portrait mode on the Alpha.
Once you go to file>new, you will see the New Document dialog box. Type in the sizes you need like “Height: 768” “Width 1280” and “Resolution 368”

After you’ve type in in the numbers you’ll want to click on the “Save Preset...” button there it will ask for the preset name you can type anything you want or do what I did(AlphaPortrait). Then click okay and your new file should open up.

From now on when you open up Photoshop and go to file> new and you go through the “Preset dropdown menu” you will see the preset you made with the name you gave it.
You can repeat these steps to do landscape mode and your icons
I hope this tutorial helped you save time!
