Since even the SDK download is packaged as a self-extracting .EXE file, how can you get the webworks SDK on a mac? Apparently some people are, but I don't see any direct support for doing so. This may be a stupid mac question. I just got one and have little experience with it. The 'oh this doesn't support mac' obsticle that I keep running into is not fun.

The WebWorks SDK for Tablet OS is supported on Mac. The Smartphone WebWorks SDK is not. This is primarily because the Tablet OS has simulators that will work on Mac and the Smarthone OS does not.
This is changing with the introduction of Ripple and means that Mac support for the Smartphone SDK is planned for later this year.

the thing i don't get about this is that the osx java sdk has no support for simulators either, and yet exists (and is quite usable). i spent literally 2 hrs yesterday firing up vmware, uninstalling webworks2.0, installing webworks2.1 and recompiling just so i could update the permissions in an app that operates on remote content.
i'm glad you guys have it in the road map, i just wish i could do a simple compilation now.
