My webworks app not working on 10.2 beta virtual machine

Hi,

My webworks app which works weel on 10.1 not working on 10.2 beta.

When started, it only showed a blank screen.

I have used web inspector, but it didn't run into any break point.

Do anyone has suggestions of what I should do next.

Many thanks in advance.

Check if you've got a red circle in Web Inspector at the bottom right hand of the screen, if so hit escape and see what it says is wrong

Usually lets you work things out

Hi Peardox,

Thanks a lot.

I'm not familiar with web inspector.

There are several tabs in web inspector, including element, resources, network, sources, timeline, profiles, audits, console.

In which tab the red cycle would be shown.

Re: My webworks app not working on 10.2 beta virtual machine

Sorry - rather used to it so second nature to me

Sources then select index.html (the likely problem area)

Click the reload icon in Chrome then press F5 (they work differently in Web Inspector than you may expect)

The reload icon reloads web inspector and updates any code in the source etc windows

F5 makes the device / simulator reload

If in doubt, always reload both the start debugging

Another handy thing to do is to set a breakpoint at the start of your webworksready handler as things can go wrong there that are rather hard to diagnose
