Re: New to webworks bb10 need guidance where to start

Hi,

You'll want to start here:

http://developer.blackberry.com/html5/documentation/getting_started_with_bb10_ww_sdk_2007056_11.html

Get through the installation requirements and package the example app.  When walking through the examples you'll get a feel for the first two objectives.  For the Loading... sequence, just hide and show a DIV as the page is navigated (when button or slider clicked.. show and then hidden with the onload of next page).

Re: New to webworks bb10 need guidance where to start

The loading effect would have to be implemented on the mobile site itself. If you're just launching to a URL of an external site, you won't be able to affect how it behaves; it would need to have that behaviour already implemented.

Re: New to webworks bb10 need guidance where to start

Hi - welcome

If you can get it to work on a desktop in Chrome you're 99% done

Basically all you need to do is take a site and give it a webworks wrapper

The basic skills you need are HTML, CSS and JavaScript

If you can handle those you'll have very few problems
