PlayBook OS 2.1 - Writing to File Works, Reading from File works But Overwriting to existing file does not?

Using HTML5, I have found that writing to a new file works, reading from file works but  overwriting to existing file does not work. Can anyone confirm this? 

 

Platform in Question is PlayBook OS 2.1
