would be a nice to have for the upcoming bbUI.js framework and hopefully they add something like this. For now, if you are able to handle your content on one page, I would try something like iScroll Carousel. I'm working with it on the PlayBook and on other devices/OSs as well.

This is being implemented in the "next" branch of bbUI.js. Right now the transitions only go one way, when you push the screen, but showing the opposite transition when popping the screen is listed as being worked on for the next final release. see it on this page:
Hi! I'm not clear if the OP was talking about bbUI or not. In bbUI you already have effects for transactions, but currently only 'fade' is supported. 'Slide' is under construction in the next branch, will be ready soon
