Hello everyone. I'm fairly new at this PlayBook programming and have run up against a frustrating problem. I installed the earlier version and have been somewhat successful in programming it.
However, with the new version I am unable to install the simulator in the VMware Player. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, re-downloaded and re-installed, etc. and still continue to have the following in the screen display in the final step of the VM install.
In the earlier version the screen displayed - Loading Neutrino....... and proceeded to finalize the install.
In this version the screen displays - Loading Installer .......and scrolls text which displays cd/EULA.txt at the bottom of the first screen. I can scroll up and down and display lots of text but nothing continues or finishes the VM install.
I would appreciate any suggestions.
btw my system is Windows 7 - 64 bit, 6GB memory, 800 GB free HD space.
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
Terry

Just type Y then press enter to accept the EULA and the installation should start. After installation, the PlayBook simulator should automatically boot.

Thanks for the suggestion. I had never scrolled all the way down.
I scrolled to the bottom and entered Y to accept the agreement.
I received the message to press <ENTER> to reboot.
I did so and ended up in the same loop of - Loading Installer ....... Y, <ENTER> again and again.
If you, or anyone else, can suggest something else to try, I would appreciate it.
Thank you for your time.

This is (very) tricky.
You should not press the "enter" or arrow key all the way down.
You should stop to press anything continously when only a few lines of text left.
Then move down one line at a time. Otherwise your extra input will be interpreted as
your answer to the question which is expected to be "y".
You will be successfully after try a few times.

Thank you Waynes2011 and Accoductions
It is indeed very tricky. It took me 3 times to get it.
I hope they address this issue in the next version.

Just so everybody knows, we are working diligently to improve this experience. An effort is underway to improve the experience for accepting this end user licensing agreement (EULA) to make it easier.
Cheers,
