OK, I guess Rich Text is broken in Firefox 4. Let's try Chrome.

Hi jaschroe,
Thanks for providing the log! Based on it we believe that you installed the SDK as a non-root user. Try copying the simulator folder to a new folder and try again from this new folder.
We believe that the issue you are seeing is a result of Mac OS file system permissions. The installer will install the VMware files as belonging to "root" so if you are a non-root user you will need to copy this folder to a new folder which will then have full permission.
Hope that helps!

Hi Kwhatmough,
Thanks for the reply. I have deleted my installation and installed again. Here are the permissions for the BlackBerryPlayBookSimulator-1.0.1 folder:

Hi jaschroe,
Try manually copying the BlackBerryPlayBookSimulator-1.0.1 folder to another location on your Mac, and then try opening that copy of the VMX file in VMware Fusion. (No need to re-install).

I don't know how or why, but it works! I moved it to ~/Downloads and it ran like a champ. Thanks!
