Re: Problem while Signing Tablet application!

What JDK version have you installed?

What windows are you using? (it looks like a 64bit version)

Have you installed the AIR SDK?

Have you got any java "stuff" in your windows path?

If it helped you, click like. :smileyhappy:

Re: Problem while Signing Tablet application!

This killed me for a bit 18 months ago as well

Try this...

Open Windows Explorer (NOT Internet Explorer)

Right Click on 'My Computer'

Click on 'Advanced System Settings'

Click the 'Envoronment Variables' button @ bottom

In the lower window (System Variables) scroll down to Path then double click it

You can now edit the system path

In my case I added...

;C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.7.0_09\bin

Note the semi-colon at the start of that like - it's very important

You have to keep the path correct as new versions of Java turn up

OK everything - a reboot is always a good idea when you do this kinda thing

All this does is tell the command prompt where JAVA lives

It appears that JAVA don't know where it lives which it needs to get at it's DLLs

If that don't work kill Java (remove it) and grab the Java SDK and install it - I note we're (today up to v 10 so path will defo need changing)

Make sure you get SDK rather than JRE and make sure it's the 32 bit (x86) version

I've just recently rebuilt my laptop cos Win8 screws with everything so I did a fresh install on 7 just over a week ago - couldn't even sign - couldn't install keys (damned frustrating)

I can tell you with certainty that this stuff works as I can install keys and sign again now

As the other poster notes make sure you've got AIR

Re: Problem while Signing Tablet application!

Glad I could help

Took me ages to work out so I know how frustrating it can be

BB should mention this stuff in the how to get started stuff

I feel my first article coming on (it should be documented) <g>
