I can't seem to launch the Playbook simulator.  I downloaded VMware, and when I go to create a new virtual machine, the system can't recognize my operating system (Mac OS X Snow Leopard Version 10.6.7).  This is preventing me from launching the Playbook Simulator.

I have all the system requirements as stated in this guide: http://docs.blackberry.com/en/developers/deliverables/27274/System_requirements_tablet_1429427_11.js...

Any insight would be appreciated.

Problem solved with this response:

There is a PlayBook simulator file located in a sub directory where the WebWorks SDK is installed.

In order to load the simulator file into VMWare from this location you must have “root” level permissions.  Or, you can simply copy the simulator file out to another directory that doesn’t require root level permissions and then load it into VMWare.

So, "Open Existing Virtual Machine", go to the Simulator file in the SDK, and open the VMware Playbook simulator file.
