Progress bar from 0~100 while file downloading on blackberry widget

We need to display the progress bar ranging from 0~100 as and when the file gets downloaded. But currently, we are not able to track the progress status as to how much data has been downloaded and thus cannot display the exact status.

1. How do we do that considering the limited API's that we have?

2. Can we find out the file size and then may be downloading speed to show the progress bar?

Waiting for the expert suggestions!!

Thanks,

Can you provide some details on how you are downloading a file?  Is it via an XMLHttpRequest?

Re: Progress bar from 0~100 while file downloading on blackberry widget

Hi tneil,

We are currently using Google gear API's and it is HTTP Request.

Also, we are working on and supporting OS 5.0 and above using device simulator 9550.

The problem is we can track only the start of the download and the end of the download using the API's but cannot track the exact progress.

Please let me know if any more information is required.
