RIM: Connection

https://developer.blackberry.com/html5/documentation/ww_developing/rim_connection_element_834681_11....

<rim:connection timeout="25000">
   <id>MDS</id>
   <id>BIS-B</id>
   <id>TCP_WIFI</id>
   <id>TCP_CELLULAR</id>
   <id>WAP2</id>
   <id>WAP</id>
</rim:connection>

The above is code that says what connection methosd the device is allowed to use?

But the API documentation does say what devices its compatible with?

Does anyone know? Does it work on the playbook? Is there any test apps?

Please use plain text.

Re: RIM: Connection

It is only compatible with phones at the moment (no BB10 or PlayBook, yet).

At the top of each entry in there are icons that let you know what it works with (a phone, a playbook looking thing or 'BB10')

Re: RIM: Connection

Thanks, are you aware of anyway to do this on the playbook?

The only thing i require is to know if im connection on wifi, bluetooth tethering or blackberry bridge?

Even any experimental code? Or a work around ?

Thanks again
