Remote images not loading in webworks

Hi All,

I am trying to load Google Maps Static Image into a webworks application, but end up getting a cross mark for non rendered image. I have tested the same in emulator and its working properly. But when i sign the application and load it in the blackberry curve 9300 (OS 5.0)  its not working.

I have gone throug the forums,  below mentioned pointers were raised for a possible solution but didnt work

1) Google Maps Static API has a 1000 views per day limitation

   My Comments :  That limit is 1000 unique views per day and when that limit applies the google maps static api sends a different icon which says limit exceeded instead of the normal cross which is shown in the blackberry webworks application.

2) Include remote uri for maps in webworks application

    My Comments : Yes, even after having config with uri="*" in subdomains access, the images are not rendering in the app.

Below is the simple image tag i am using.

    <img alt='No img' src="http://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/staticmap?center=Ahmedabad,India&zoom=14&size=400x400&sensor=fal..." />

Would appreciate if someone can help me with this, been stuck on this for a over a week now.

Thanks!

Re: Remote images not loading in webworks

Rather than create a new thread, I thought I would bump this one. I have the exact same problem. Anyone know how to resolve this?

Thanks!

Re: Remote images not loading in webworks

for test only, just try to load other regular simple images, like http://yourdomain.com/images/image.jpg
and see if it will be loaded or not.
