Getting "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an usual way. Please contact the application's support team for more info".
Tried deleting the Ripple folder in C:\Documents and Settings[usernmae]\Application Data\Research In Motion - but keep getting the issue.
Have uninstalled and reinstalled three times now.

That's definitely an unfortunate result - if Ripple doesn't work after uninstalling it and clearing its cache, there are few remaining options. Were you ever able to run Ripple, or have you always received this error?
As of BlackBerry 10 Jam, Ripple is moving away from the standalone emulator model and back into the Chrome browser as a plugin. As a result, these types of framework / environment problems are greatly reduced.
