I love jquery but personally, the way jq mobile works on the blackberry 9900 & 9700 browsers is appauling!

I've always found the transitions very jerky & abrupt. That's always been a deal-breaker. I've tested this right OTA on their demo site. Unless it performs differently once you load it locally, I don't think the experience it offers is worth it. Besides, it also seems to interfere with a lot of the native functionality(back buttons for example) so I'm not too sure.

jQuery only.

 

I have tried Sencha Touch and JQuery Mobile, but they are infested with all sorts of issues. Might as well do everything yourself. Actually, not everything, but a small subset of what these frameworks provide- just what you need. How you need it. And with less overhead. Oh, and you don't have to learn a framework :smileyhappy:
