Download the source code from Github.

This sample app demonstrates the use of a great UI, tight integration with other apps (Browser and Messaging applications), file I/O, GPS, and integration into the BlackBerry® device menu.

The sample attached is developed for the BlackBerry® Device Software 5.0 and BlackBerry® 6.

It's a great illustration of making use of a terrific UI and layout for the application. It's entirely user-driven, in that the user can customize it to any location they'd like.

Importing into BlackBerry® Web Plug-in for Eclipse®:

  1. Create a new BlackBerry® Widget project called Weather.
  2. Import a new archive file.
  3. Import the attached .zip file into the newly created BlackBerry Widget project.

Importing into BlackBerry® Web Plug-in for Microsoft® Visual Studio®:

  1. Create a new BlackBerry Widget Project.
  2. In the new project, create subdirectories for 'images', 'stylesheet' and 'javascript'.
  3. Add existing items for each of the directories created above.
  4. Add existing items for the index.html and the config.xml files.

Always use the latest version of the BlackBerry Web Development Tools when building your own applications using the BlackBerry WebWorks Application platform.

Updates:

More Info:
