Sharing HTML content - Invocation framework and Facebook

Hi All,

I would like to share some HTML content to Facebook by using Webworks and the Invocation Framework. No problem with text/plain content, but I need something more..do you guys know if it is feasible or not?

I didn't see any example about that neither on the official documention nor on Git..

Thanks a lot

Hi there,

What specifically are you wanting to share?

Re: Sharing HTML content - Invocation framework and Facebook

Hi,

something like this:

Hello <b>everyone</b> <img src="http://link_to_image.png"></img>

I'm using the bb.action.share with type text/html (text/plain is the same), but I don't know if it's supported

Thanks

Re: Sharing HTML content - Invocation framework and Facebook

Okay thanks,

So that's not currently possible with the invoke framework. You can either share text, or an image. Not both at the same time.

The only solution I'm aware of is to handle the sharing yourself using OAuth. It's a fair bit more work than using the invoke framework but will work. We have examples posted of using OAuth for Twitter, and Facebook which would probably be a huge help in this case.
