Signing Server Outage - July 11

The BlackBerry Code Signing Servers have been offline for most of the day and were experiencing intermittent issues over the weekend.

Teams are working on this issue and we will have service restored ASAP.

Re: Signing Server Outage - July 11

Is there a way that we can check if the server is online or not? I say that because i'm compiling the applications between a command line tool....
Thanks for listening.

Re: Signing Server Outage - July 11

We have been working on resolving this issue over the weekend and throughout the day.  It is a very high priority for us and we understand the impact it has on the productivity of third party developers.

Signing has been brought online with new hardware, but is running in a degraded state.  We continue to work on resolving this issue and will be monitoring the services very closely.

Re: Signing Server Outage - July 11

Would it be possible to add something to the development road map to allow real device testing without having to get signoff from the remote signing authority... it goes without saying this is affecting my ability to work and costing our company money.

This is currently available for the BlackBerry PlayBook.  You can install a debug token on your PlayBook and run unsigned copies of applications you create.  It is not currently available for BlackBerry Smartphones.
