We have a handful of Blackberries for our Sales Force. They are currently 8703e models.
We haven't done much with development, just used the standard apps, so looking for direction.
We would like to create a simple survey document template to provide to our Sales Force. The intent is a short list of multiple choice questions, yes or no types and drop down menus with a few fields to manually fill in. Currently, there is not a database backend, the idea is e-mail. However; if it is easy enough to link the recommend front end to a simple Access Database, that is even better.
My question is, it is easy enough to create something like this in word, the Blackberries see the document, but can't edit it. Is there a good format for this? Different language? Do we need to obtain a third-party or what is the recommended route to accomplish this?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions on what's worked, what to avoid and how you as other Blackberry admins and users would approach this.

I think this type of application would be best suited to a web page. It could tie into your back end system and you could easily email a link or push out the page to your users. The page itself could also detect if it is a BlackBerry user or a Desktop PC user and provide a page optimized for either browser. I recommend having a look at the following links.
