Specifying a browser in a URL

I have a link to download an application that is hosted on our company intranet.  I am having the problem that if I email out the link to a user and their default browser is not the BB Browser, they can't open the link... does anyone know if you can use Javascript or something to specify that a webpage must be opened with the BB Browser?

No, this isn't possible.

 

But instead of sending an email, you could perform a Browser Message push.  This would appear similar to an email message and be opened in the BlackBerry Browser.  For more information please see the Creating browser push applications in the BlackBerry Browser - Content Developer Guide found here:  http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/docs/subcategories/?userType=21&category=BlackBerry+Browser
