Storing Username and Password

Just started using WebWorks, my question is where should I store the username and password of my app so that the user doesn't have to reenter the username and password every time he use the app.

Any example for this case?

thanks

I would do it using persistent storage, but this is not supported in webworks (i think only for playbook) so you would have to creat your own extension for it.

Re: Storing Username and Password

 - What do you mean by persistent storage? Both localstorage and Web DB are available on smartphones and seem appropriate, no? These databases are only wiped if the app is deleted.

Re: Storing Username and Password

Yes, you can also use DB, but no localstorage. Localstorage is not supported for 5.0 for example.(http://www.blackberry.com/developers/docs/webworks/api/?bb5.0). If you are working in a playbook app, you can also use LocalStorage.
