I'm developing a webworks application for the Playbook. I'm trying to open the camera to take a picture. I know it's possible because there is a takepicture function in the webworks api and it's available for the Playbook.
My problem is nothing happens when the takepicture function should open the camera. I get no error message, just nothing. I'm not sure how I can trace the execution of my application. Any idea?
I've added<feature id="blackberry.media.camera" /> and<rimermit>use_camera</rimermit> on my configuration file. I'm not sure if the order of this two declarations is important???
Can you help? Thanks.

No it happens on the PlayBook.
I'm testing most of the features of my apps in a browser, then I package, sign and transfer the .bar on my tablet.

have you checked the samples on github in the kitchenSink app?
try this link: kitchenSink
i'm pretty sure they have a working examples in there of using the camera. just make sure you follow what they do. if it doesn't work just ping us again and we'll figure the problem out.

Hey thanks that helps a lot. I was not aware of that github webworks samples.
I think my mistake is in my config.xml file.
