Seems like like the Webworks development environement would be perfectly suited for Telerik's Icenium Mobile IDE. Any change Blackberry would be willing to work with them to add BB10 to that platform. So far Icenium supports iOS, Android, and soon Windows Phone 8 HTML 5 mobile development. BB10 would be a nice addition to that IDE as well.

I had a satisfying meeting with Telerik a month or so ago and they expressed interest in adding support for BB10 to their Icenium platform. However did not provide a timeline for when this might happen
Would encourage developers to voice their interests in having BlackBerry 10 support in Icenium to Telerik : http://www.icenium.com/

We need a decent IDE
I have thought about the idea of writing an extension for Notepad++ as this would be good for those of us who develop in text editors (the extension would automate compile / install to a test device)
Less experienced developers probably want the DreamWeaver experience
Adam - can we talk Adobe into this?

I don't think there is really a need for Adobe to add webworks support, If webworks merges with Cordava it will automatically have DreamWeaver support.
Personally being able to choose my own text editor is one of the things I like most about webworks. Though single click to deploy from editor is always nice.

I forgot - some people like Macs (stupid ones <g>)
You are quite correct, I stand told off for making such an OS-bound statement
I must admit I don't like Macs - forced to use one and the only decent text editor I can find is Text Wrangler...
Yep - cross platform IDE would be perfect
I'll check out Telerik in a bit
It may be an idea to use or adapt Lazarus (I hope you speak Pascal)
I will suggest this to the developers of that product
